One of Kensington's closest "school" friends is a sweet little girl named Kate. Kate's mom is also a first grade teacher in my school district so we've gotten to know each other over the years. When school ended this year, we decided that we definitely needed to set up a "summer play date" for the girls. We set a date to go to San Diego's Safari Park. It was so cute to watch the girls chat as they explored the park's animals together. Kensington and I are looking forward to our next date this summer with the Farmer girls.

Summer Play Dates

SDSC's Disney Adventure to Celebrate Liam's Birthday

For Liam's 5th Birthday, the SDSC organized our first group trip to "The Happiest Place on Earth." Armed with Starbucks and matching shirts, we caravanned up to Disney Way. The boys dropped off of the girls and munchkins while they went to take the cars back to the hotel. Day one was spent at California Adventure. Liam was able to get a special birthday button before we headed to Cars Land. Our day was filled with sunshine, heat, rides, a parade and the Frozen show. For Day 2, the Singletons headed back to Arizona while we joined the Keiths at Disneyland for quite possibly the hottest day of the year! We only stayed for about 4 1/2 hours due to the heat but it was still a blast!
