Dana Point Playdate with Grammy

This week is Ski Week for our district which means that Kensington and I get the week to spend with one another. On Monday, Daddy had the day off to so we were able to have a fantastic family day together. Then on Tuesday we were able to meet Grammy up in Dana Point for a lunch date. We strolled by the boats in the harbor then had lunch at El Torito. So fun!
Just thinking about her delicious goldfish snack

Someone's excited that Grammy arrived!

Grammy and Grampa just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day at Disneyland. They were so sweet and even brought Little Miss a Minnie Mouse onesie!

She melts me every time!

Couch Time with Daddy

Kensington absolutely loves her Daddy. Her eyes light up whenever he walks into the room. Lately she has been throwing her hands up in the air whenever he arrives so that she can give him a giant hug. After her morning nap on Monday it was time for some Daddy/Daughter couch time. She loved it!

Reading with Puppy

Kensington is absolutely obsessed with dogs. She first learned how to say "Dud-dee" for Dudley. Then she learned "dod-dee" for doggie. Every time she sees a dog, she points, says, "dod-dee" then tries to bark. We are in the process of helping her learn that she can't pet every dog she sees but it's really hard when she gets so excited that she starts doing her happy dance. One dog that she is always allowed to pet is "Puppy" her stuffed puppy, that looks just like Dudley, from Auntie Paige and Uncle Bryan.

"Who loves puppies? I do!"

Fort Building

Over the weekend we also took advantage of the Babies R' Us trade in sale and purchased Kensington a "big girl" car seat. So what do you do with a giant car seat box? Well, when you have a little one who absolutely loves tunnel, you make her a tunnel/fort with it!

"Who's on the other side of this amazing fort?"

"Wow! It's Aunt Tam!"

"I want to see it from this side!"

She figured out that she could push the entire fort around the living room...
and loved it!

Peek-a-boo I see you!

"I'm going to get you!"

"Oh No! She's going to get me!"

"Gotcha!"

"This is so much fun!"

"So are you coming to get me?"

"I'm a speedy little bug!"

Valentine's Fun with Gramma Woolimama and Aunt Tamara

Gramma Woolimama and Aunt Tamara had some Valentines for the Little Miss. Watching her open presents never gets old!

We continued with the Valentine's Day inspired outfits. It only seemed fitting since Aunt Tam had bought her the onesie.

Very interested in the package

What is that? A tutu? That sparkles? Amazing!!!

Yes, I could get used to this...

What do you think of my tutu?

That's what I thought...ADORABLE!

How did we get so lucky to have such a precious little Valentine?!

She absolutely loved the bowls and lids that Gramma Woolimama gave her.

Valentine's Date Night with the Keiths

Gramma Woolimama and Aunt Tamara offered to watch the little munchkin so that we could go out for a date night. So of course we decided to go out with the Keiths! We had dinner at Queenstown Public House then headed over to Princess Pub for some tasty beverages and 3 rounds of darts. We had an absolute blast!

Would like to make note of how "tall" Seamus looks in this photo....

We also tried to get another more "realistic" picture of the four of us... but now it looks like one of us belongs in the movie, "Beetlejuice!"

Afternoon Water Table Time

While waiting for Gramma Woolimama and Aunt Tamara to arrive, we had some more backyard family fun time. Kesington was so excited to get to use the water table for a second time in one day and Dudley was thrilled to have some fetch time with Daddy.
