Kensington's 2nd Birthday...Part 2

The next morning, Kensington was able to finish opening her presents. She still loves to sit on top of her presents when she opens them. It is so cute to watch her explore the best way to go about opening them.

Birthday Celebration Continues

After Kensington woke up from her nap, the party continued. We enjoyed family time around the fire pit, leftovers for dinner, and then sang "Happy Birthday" to the birthday girl. She was thrilled to get to have another cupcake. After dessert, Kensington opened up some of her birthday presents as well.

For the First Time in Forever...

For Kensington's 2nd Birthday we decided that it would be inspired by the movie "Frozen" because Kensington, like almost every other child is obsessed with this Disney tale. Our kept with the snowflake theme and decorated using various shades of blue. Probably the best part of the entire party was the "snow" machine that Mike purchased. He had it connected to a remote control so that anytime a child walked onto the grass, he could make it "snow." With the help of friends and family, Kensington's birthday celebration was a huge success! The only thing that was a little bit off was the fact that it was literally 80 degrees the day of her party. So, her snow boots became a little bit too hot. Prepare yourself for a long entry because we took  A LOT of photos.
