Grampa's Birthday

Ernie's Birthday was on Friday, September 6th and since we had the Mike's triathlon on Saturday morning and a work function Saturday afternoon, we headed up to Orange County on Sunday morning to spend time celebrating Grampa. We enjoyed a delicious birthday lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings and watched the Steelers play. Back at Grammy and Grampa's house Kensington demonstrated her "crawling" and "sitting" skills.

Happy Birthday Grampa!

San Diego Triathlon Classic

After months of training, Mike was finally ready for the San Diego Triathlon Classic. At dawn he headed down to Point Loma for the race. Kensington and I drove down after she woke up. After some circling to find parking, we loaded up the stroller and headed over to the transition zone. We were there in time to see Mike transition from the bike ride to the run.

In prime position to see Daddy come into the transition zone.

We were also able to check out the finish as well

Mike showed his SLO pride by wearing his Cal Poly shirt. It made spotting him in the crowd incredibly easy as well.

Heading off to the final portion of the race...the run!

Cheering her Daddy on from the sideline

 The final stretch...

Daddy's #1 fans!

"I'm so proud of you Daddy!"

Our first triathlon

 Such a great day!

Way to go guys!

PJ Day at School

There are so many amazing things about the Child Development Center but one of our absolute favorites is that they have dress up days. The first dress up day was pajama day...of course!

Labor Day Celebration...with the SDSC

On Labor Day, the Singletons and the Keiths came over for a BBQ and our first ever SDSC fantasy football draft. Mike created an electronic draft board so that we watch our draft on the big screen. We also grilled some delicious "Bourbon-zola" burgers with corn and watermelon for dinner.

 "DOOOOOOO-G"

 "Hi McKayla"

"Hi Kensington, I like your bow."

 "I've missed you friend."

 "Big hugs!"

"Hi Uncle Jake...look at my strong arms."

Kensington seeming very interested in McKayla's goldfish

The two little ladies went down for their naps which meant that it was time for the draft....Steelers gear for all!

Our amazing draft board...Thanks "Don't Take No Flaco"

 Help from little ones

Once all the munchkins were awake, we decided to have some outside time

Someone loves playing outside with the "soccer" ball

Dudley decided to check out Kensington's "Minnie Saucer"

"Kensington I really like this flower on your Minnie Saucer."

"McKayla, I really like your white hat. We are twins."

 "What's up buttercup?"

"Can we please have that cup too?"

"Ooh we can play with this..."

"Do you want to play ball with me Liam?"

Sunday Funday with the Keiths

After hanging out with the Zajiceks it was time to head over to the Keiths' for Sunday Funday. It was at the Keiths' that we figured out that Kensington had a fever. Luckily, with some medicine and the magical Keith sleeping dust she took a two hour nap and woke up back to her cheerful, perky self.
