Play Date with the Keiths

On Saturday we had a double dose of the Keiths. They met us in Little Italy for lunch at 11:30. Once all of the kiddos took their afternoon naps, the entire Keith crew headed over for their first sleepover with the kiddos at our house. We played, ate pizza, hung out by the fire pit and finished the night with "We Are The Millers." (However only Kristy made it through the entire movie.)No matter what we do, we always have a blast with the Keiths.

Checking out what's on the menu.

Our lunch spot of choice-Ballast Point in Little Italy.

After lunch, we headed into downtown to see Daddy's office. (Check out that view!)

"Sharing is Caring."

Keith slumber party!

Time for this little man to head off to sleepy-land.

"Don't you want to play Liam?"

"Kensington, Princess Sophia is on TV!"

Where's Kensington?

November PJ Day

Kensington's third dress up day in November was...you guessed it...PJ Day! Grammy and Grampa gave her an adorable pair of PJ's with hot air balloons on them. So we paired that with a pink bow and it was off to school for her last day before Thanksgiving vacation.

Here comes...Daddy!

In the morning before leaving for school Kensington loves to "cruise" around the couch but her favorite moment is when Daddy comes downstairs with Dudley. Below is the collage of that exact moment.

10 Months and going strong!

Below is the series of pictures that ensued while we were trying to capture Kensington's 10 Month photo. The more mobile she becomes, the more of a challenge it is to take her picture. Enjoy!

Kensington's first "Mickey Ears" thanks to the Cohen family.

Catching Fire

Monday, November 18th is a night I won't soon forget. Bryan gave up his ticket so that Paige could take me to the Hollywood premiere of "Catching Fire." For a Hunger Games fanatic like myself it was a dream come true. Never mind the fact that it was a school night during Parent-teacher conference week...best night ever! I headed up to the Bessers directly following my final conference Monday and had zero traffic. Yes, it was a Mocking Jay Miracle of the freeway. We got dressed up and headed to the Nokia theater to watch the stars in all their glory. My mouth kept dropping open as we saw one star after another. Keiffer Sutherland, Kylie Jenner, Kiernan Shipka, Willow and Jayden Smith and Suzanne Collins herself all just inside the theater. Then there was the director's introduction of the cast...the whole cast! Top that off with the incredible movie that is Catching Fire and then the after party. I had to keep pinching myself to make sure this was real life.

Our "selfie" in the car before we headed into the big event.

The size of the screen that we got to watch the movie on!

The whole cast!

The After Party

 Walking our own Red Carpet

Drummers welcoming us to the event

The entire event was decked out like the capital

Please excuse the shoddy camera taking skills. I was literally shaking with excitement during the entire event.

The Bar

Best Date Ever! Love this beautiful girl. I will carry the mental pictures I have of Lenny, Woody, and Elizabeth sitting in our area forever. Thank you Bessers!!!!!!

Multi-tasking

Apparently she didn't get the memo about this being a "No Zone."

Parents' Night Out

November 16th was a big night in the Braund house. Mike and I went out to celebrate Andrew and Jenny's big move to Colorado and we had our first "babysitter" for Kensington. Lucky for us it was Jess. She came over early so that she could read over my babysitter sub-plans and help the little peanut with dinner. We had a great time celebrating knowing that both of our girls were in good hands.

All gussied up for our night on the town.

 Enjoying dinner with Auntie Jess.

 "Love you Auntie Jess."

 "Love you too Dudley."

Brown Day and Farmer's Market

Kensington's second dress up day in November was "Brown Day." Luckily Taylor had passed down this adorable brown that had bit of brown in it and of course we had a brown headband accessory.

 Dancing with her comb

"Would you like to dance with the comb?"

We headed home after school to meet Auntie Jess, Auntie Christie, Taylor and Cameron at the local Farmer's Market.
Auntie Jess and two of her favorite girls.

The picture is blurry because Cam was literally racing around the tree trunk..such a difference between girls and boys.
