Visiting Great Gramma Anne

Unfortunately, over Christmas Eve Great Gramma Anne had to go to the hospital for some edema issues. Luckily, all turned out to be ok and the day after Christmas, my mom and I were able to go up and visit with her for a bit. She looked great! Her nurse ended up being named, "Marissa" so we called cousin Marissa to tell her all about it. Then we even had a chance to talk to Aunt Julie from Florida. While we were at the hospital, Mike, Ernie and Kensington had a chance to build her first gingerbread house, complete with homemade icing from scratch.

Christmas 2015

Christmas morning, Kensington slept in until 8:30 and then it was time for presents and breakfast. She was overjoyed when she found a bin from Santa. When she opened each present, her excitement grew as she realized that it was Paw Patrol Theme! Santa had listened to her request and brought her a "Paw Patrol cup and Paw Patrol shirt." After opening Santa's gift and her stocking, it was time for a brief breakfast pause before relocating to the living/dining room to continue with gifts. I think it's safe to say that her favorite part was actually helping everyone open their gifts.
Around one o'clock we headed up to Grammy and Grampa's house to drop off their dogs before heading over to the P.V.T's for Christmas dinner. Kensington loved getting to play with Henry and Jack as well as getting to wear crowns from party poppers. But her favorite part was getting to eat a huge ice cream scoop for dessert.

Santa came!
