Van Trigt Family Renunion Part 1

On July 18th we headed down to Coronado to meet up with the Van Trigt crew to celebrate Gramma's 90th birthday with a giant family reunion. On Friday night, every one came up to the the Casa Grande Suite for pizza and salad. Uncle JP and Teby were actually playing in a doubles tennis tournament down the street. So after dinner, a big group of us headed down to cheer them to victory. Then it was off to Moo Town Creamery for some and puzzle time for others.

"Yes! It's vacation time!!!"

Off to the Zoo with Taylor and Cam

This summer we were able to get together with Christie and the kiddos on a weekly basis. One of the best play dates we had was when we went to the Zoo. We got there early in the morning which was the perfect time to see all of the animals out and about. We stayed for a couple hours, had a picnic lunch, then headed home.

"Can you find the bear sleeping in the tree?"

These two little munchkins absolutely love walking through the Monkey Trail.

Xaio Liwu was so cute sleeping then gearing up to eat a morning snack.

 Cute little panda bear

Someone was really excited to discover the petting zoo and touch bunny.

Auntie Christie showed the little ones how to pet the goats

"Three Billy Goats Gruff" up close and personal

"These goats are just soooo cute!"

These three little cuties just melt my heart!

New Children's Museum with the Keiths

On Tuesday, the 15th we headed to the New Children's Museum in San Diego with Kristy and the boys. They have annual passes and free guest passes for us to use. Liam and Kensington had a blast playing in the truck zone while Braeden cheered them on from the spectator section. Later on in the day, he went on the trucks as well. From the truck zone it was time for the rope climbing area then upstairs to the playhouses and art area. We were so impressed that Liam actually took off his shoes right away to go into the playhouse. (Note, he didn't actually go into the house but it was huge that his shoes came off.) As always, we had a blast with the Keith boys and Kristy and I were even able to visit a bit while the kiddos watched the kiddos.

Getting herself "dressed"

"Trucks are amazing!"

Liam had so much fun hauling items around in the bed of his truck

Vroom Vroom!

"Whoah! A ball!!!"

"This is amazing!"

"Can we really sit on

Watching Liam "swing."
