We headed up to Bates Nut Farm on the 14th of July with Kelly, Autumn and Coleman while Bennett was at VBS. It was an unusually cold and rainy day up at the farm but that did not deter the munchkins from feeding the chickens, sheep and goats. Of course Kensington wanted to put the corn kernels in her mouth but Autumn helped to teach her that only the animals eat the corn.
"Hmm, I wonder when Autumn is going to get here?"
"Is that her?"
"Wait...there she is!!!"
"Autumn, is that a pig?"
"Where are we going next?"
Autumn demonstrating how to be brave when feeding the hungry goats.
The little lambs just loved Kelly.
"Oh my goodness! Look at Autumn!"
Such a little climber
Coleman was all smiles for his mommy.
Little Mover and Shaker
Back at the Szabos, the girls had a chance to play with their dolls. We were able to have a quick lunch date while Coleman slept before they needed to pick Bennett up from VBS. A short but sweet visit indeed.
During Kensington's afternoon nap, Hadders, Leah, Wendy and I took our good friend Linda out to celebrate her 50th birthday. We had a chance to hear all about her family trip to Italy as well as catch up about our summers as well.
One of the most beautiful women I know...an inspiration to us all.
Make another wish
Cheers to another 50 Linda! We love you.
