First Batch of Cookies

After 10 years of pining for a Kitchenaid mixer, Mike gave me one for Christmas. Unfortunately, it was broken so we had to send it back and await a new one. Luckily, it showed up sooner than the 6-8 week time frame.  It seemed like the perfect time for Kensington and I to make our first batch of chocolate chip cookies together. It was such a special moment so share.
While Mommy worked on mixing the raw cookie dough, Kensington worked on her stationary notes

STEAM+ Night

Kensington joined me in helping with the STEAM+ night at my school. She wore her fancy Christmas dress since it was an awards-themed night. We assisted Mr. Tracy with the rhythm basketball station. Kensington loved pounding on the drums to the beat of "Wipe Out."

Three Year Old Sassafrass

Getting ready for another great day at school means that it's time for our #morningmust picture. For some reason, the day after she turned three she suddenly looked so much older and with some sassafrass.

She's Three!

That's Right! In the blink of an eye our precious little miracle is officially three!!! Time has felt to pass so quickly. It's as if I went to sleep one night with her as a baby in my arms and woke to find that she's grown into this tiny human. Words cannot describe what an amazing ride it has been watching her grow, learn, and discover her little place in the world. I recognize that this is just the beginning and that with each passing year, new milestones will be reached. In some ways I wish I could freeze time and keep her here and in others, I can't wait to see what the future has in store. Kensington Joy Braund has joy overflowing from her. I know that our lives are so much happier, better and more complete just by having her here. Mommy and Daddy love you to the moon and back Lovebug!

Birthday Dinner at Karl Strauss...it's tradition!

Of course we had to get her books for her birthday...these ones are all about manners
