Leisure Reading

We all know that Kensington loves reading her books. But during Spring Break we learned that Kensington loves adult books too. When she was exploring the library in the guest bedroom she pulled out Dear Americans which is a book written by President Reagan. She grabbed the book, walked down the hall, found Daddy, leaned down and kissed the cover of the book before having Daddy read it to her. It was precious!

"Pretty excited about this book Daddy."

"Let's start reading Daddy."

"What is President Reagan saying here Daddy?"

A "Hoppy" Little Visit

During our break, we had a little visit from Auntie Jess. She stopped by to give Kensington her Easter basket. Kensington started opening her basket right away and as soon as she found the Easter Egg book, she backed right into Auntie Jess' lap for story time.

Can you find the hidden eggs Kensington?

"What are you wearing on your head Auntie Jess?"

Showing Daddy her new Strawberry Shortcake book

Still trying to find that bunny hidden in the story

"Pretty sure I look cute rocking these bunny ears."

Trying to bunny hop

"Do you like my bunny ears? Because I sure do!"

We went out for family happy hour later that night and she rocked the ears the entire time.

Sea World Play Date

One of the best parts about having friends who are teachers, is that we can middle of the week play dates when it's Spring Break. Amber brought Olivia and Ava down for Kensington's first trip to Sea World. We had so much fun watching shows, looking at the animals and  walking around the park.

Kensington's favorite part of the entire day was the Dog and Cat Show.

 "Who let the Dogs Out?"

 Just a little pot-belly pig...no big deal

Kensington could not get enough of this show. She kept saying "good girl."

Trying to catch up to the big kids....

 "Look at that Seagull Mommy!"

"If I'm really quiet I can sneak up on him."

 Three ages of cuteness

Olivia and Ava were really excited about the fountain squirter but Kensington was more interested in the seagulls

Spring Break!

Spring Break is always so much fun and this year was no exception. The weather was amazingly warm and sunny. I also had 9 days home with my favorites. We also were lucky enough to have friends come over to hang out and Daddy even took 2 days off so we could have some Family Fun Days.

Auntie Hadders came over to work on a diaper cake for Auntie Katie but Little Miss needed some story time first.
