When Mike got his new truck in May, one of the things he said that we could get a real Christmas tree this year. So, the first weekend in December we headed to The Family Tree Farm outside of La Mesa. Not only did we get to buy a real Christmas tree, we were able to actually cut it down as well. Unfortunately, Kensington had a slight temperature so she didn't feel the best but she still loved going on the tractor ride, picking out our tree, and helping Daddy carry it once he cut it down.
I want to pick out a Christmas tree today Mommy.
Snuggles from Daddy
Someone needed a little snooze on the way there
Let's look over here guys
So many trees to choose from

Watching planes fly over head (it felt so much closer than it looks in the photo)

Off to find the tree again...
Picking up the pine needles was so much fun
Is this the one Kensington?
Do you like the leaves?
This is the one!

We've got it!

Taking a "poop" pause...
Here's a great place for this ornament!
