On Friday of Spring Break we had a family fun day at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. We arrived at the park right after it opened and then headed straight the Butterfly Jungle. Then, we headed home to make it back by lunch time. A short but sweet trip....we just love having annual passes.
Who's ready to see some butterflies?
Butterflies...butterflies...everywhere
One little butterfly landed on our favorite little munchkin
It was a little bit stuffy inside the Butterfly Jungle so we moved quickly through the exhibit
Checking out the birds
"Where to next Daddy?"
"I'm ready to explore!"
The Master of his Domain...
The Silverback Male of the pack
"Do you see the baby gorilla?'
"I see it mommy!"
"Hanging with the Bats..."
"And Daddy!"
Can you see the elephants Kensington?
"I see them wayyyyyy over there!"
Kensington's favorite part of our entire day was seeing this giant balloon in the center of the park
Little "Simba" getting ready to pounce!
These little lion cubs were adorable!
These two make my heart happy
Trying to capture a family photo but one of us was a bit distracted by the birds walking on the ground
Falcon Time!
We had a blast at the Safari Park!
